Silver-eared Mesia (Leiothrix argentauris)

Average Size : 18 cm
Local name: Rimba Telinga Puteh
Habitat: Forest, forest-edge and shrubs
Diet: Fruits, insects
Location : Fraser's Hill, Malaysia

I love this bird, it is so beautiful indeed. It is a montane resident species and the unofficial mascot of Fraser's Hill. Moves in small flocks around the forest, sometimes but not always mixing with other species, looking for insects or small fruits amongst the undergrowth. Friendly, vocal and active.
