Size: Squirrel 35cm, Lineata Barbet 20cm.
Location: Kg Pari, Ipoh, Malaysia
Mr Squirrel is enjoying the succulent jack-fruit, oblivious to the fact that he is in my lens for quite a while. The jack-fruit has been visited by this squirrel for a few days already as seen with the sizeable portion being eaten up. Or most probably other squirrels might have been sharing this fruit too.
The squirrel had its fill and left. Then almost suddenly came this green bird to continue what was left by the squirrel. The bird is known as Lineated Barbet (Megalaima lineata) or "Takur Kukup" in Malay (thanks again to Tabib).
